GULKANA GLACIER 63 14 N, 145 30 W
West-facing slopes south of Gulkana glacier and below the
hoodoos (rock towers). Just north of the Richardson Hwy.
HABITAT: Alpine tundra. Lower slopes below hoodoos. Moist
snowbed with continuous, mostly herbaceous, vegetation.
Limestone substrate. Elev. 1600 m.
NOTES: Extensive, rhizomatous mat.
