Bench. Moist, relatively level tundra at base
of Mesa. Cotton Grass tussock meadow dominated
by Eriophorum spp., other graminoids, Eguisetum
spp., lichens, Saxifraga spp., and low-growing
herbs and shrubs. Collected in wet area on N
bench, rooted in moss. Petals white; sepals
mostly yellow. Fairly com on in locality.
