Heath-sedge fan of E-facing, 30° slope. Debris stripes
of shattered, platy sandstone, scree to angular boulders.
10%-40% vegetated. Artemisia trifurcata abundant on
stripes. Coarse, sandy moist soil developed locally.
On better vegetated Slopes: Saxifraga tricuspidata,
Potentilla uniflora, Silene acaulis, Artemisia arctica/
Antennaria friesiana, Gentiana propinqua, Salix SPP-
