Mesa Slope. Dry well-drained tundra with
Shallow soils or steep talus. Dominated by
Cassiope tetragona, Dryas octapetala,
Potentilla spp., lichens and low-growing '
herbs and shrubs. Collected on lower part of
S slope of Mesa. Petals and sepals purple.
Fairly common.
