miles S of the Canadian border, 59°36.903`N, l35°l0.052`W, 947 m, abundant in
moist alpine snow drainage at and above treeline, with granitic outcropping,
moderate slope, flowering, associated with Valeriana sp., Saxqfraga spp.,
Epilobium spp., Cassiope spp., Leutkea sp., grasses, Sanguisorba sp. and moss.
