Disturbed Camp Area. Well-drained gravelly
mound and immediately surrounding tussock
tundra. Populated by Minuartia spp., grasses
Artemisia spp. and other composites, and low-
growing herbs and shrubs. Collected on dry
grassy area near main tent. Flowers white,
petals bifid; delicate anthers, red to black
Very common.
