of Klondike Hwy, 59°37.848‘N, l35°09.5l1'W, 1089 m, common on thin organic soil
in alpine tundra, pools between glacier-scraped outcrops, 25° W slope, fruiting,
associated with Empetrum rzigrum, Salix spp., Cassiope stelleriuna, Carex spp.,
ericaceous species, Abiex lascincarpa, Tsuga mertensiana, moss and lichens.
