Mesa Slope. Well-drained tundra with
shallow soils or steep talus. Dominated by
Cassiope tetraqona, Dryas octapetala,‘
Potentilla spp., lichens, and low-growing
herbs and shrubs. Flowers white; sepals
bluish beneath. Com on.
