Habitat: Open areas in Populus tremuloides
forests with fine textured soils. Plants found
in association with the specimen include: Phleum
pratense, Arctostaphylos uva-ursi, Rhinanthus
crista~gal1i, and Epilobium angustifolium.
Location: Lat. 51°3o', long. 11a°3e'; es bn
northwest of Cochrane, Alberta.
