One clump, growing in fine silts on edge of blowout. in
sandy, dry soil over small volcanic cinders at a depth of
about l foot; above archeological site UNL187 on east side of
McLees Lake; windswept; approximate elevation 3 msm;
An tennaria monocephela, Cassiope Iycopodioides,
Loiseleuria procumbens, Phyllodoce aleutica, Festuca
brachyphylla, Carex circinnata, Pinguicula vulgaris,
Huperzia selago, Veronica stelleri as scattered or solitary
plants in a mat of Empetrum.
