Creek Bank and Drainage. Moist tundra on S
side of Mesa sloping to Mesa Creek. Cotton
Grass tussock meadow dominated by Eriophorum
spp., Salix spp., Betula nana, sedges, rushes,
and low-growing herbs. Collected in rocky area
at interface between Mesa Creek and base of
Mesa. Much of stem system subterranean. Fairly
common.
