Mesa Slope. Dry well-drained tundra with
shallow soils or steep talus. Dominated by
Qassiope tetraqona, Dryas octapetala,
Potentilla spp., lichens, and low-growing
herbs and shrubs. Collected mid-level on N
slope of Mesa. Most of branching subterranean
with adventitious roots. Common.
