Platanthera dilatata (Pursh) Lindl. ex Beck
Most Alaskan plants are referable to
var. albiflora (Cham.) Ledeb. , with relatively
short, stout spurs. Spur length is variable, even
within individual plants, however, and the identity
of plants with longer, more slender spurs
suggesting var. dilatata is uncertain.
