Granite Creek 5 mi. W of Granite Creek glacier terminus, Granite Range, Chugach
Mts. Locally common in dry, ARCTOSTAPHYLOS-DANTHONIA
INTERMEDIA-FESTUCA ALTAICA meadow with scattered shrubs of JUNIPERUS
COMMUNIS. Site located on S-flank of small rocky ridge on floor of Granite Creek
Valley. Growing with ACHILLEA BOREALIS, ANTENNARIA ROSEA, BETULA
GLANDULOSA, and POLEMONIUM PULCHERRIMUM. 2740 ft. elev. 26° slope, 180°
aspect.
