Mesa Top. Dry elevated tundra with shallow
well-drained soils on fractured bedrock.
Dominated by Dryas octapetala, Silene acauli
S
lichens, grasses, and low-growing herbs and
woody shrubs. Collected on rock outcrop at
center of Mesa. Fairly common.
