Disturbed Camp Area. Well-drained gravelly
mound and immediately surrounding tussock
tundra. Populated by Minuartia spp., grasses,
Artemisia spp. and other composites, and low-
growing herbs and shrubs. Collected on elevat
ed tundra above Mesa Creek. Very tall. Dried
panicles from previous season remained.
Dense tufts. Common.
